While we were in Frankfurt this busker was playing along with two friends at the central square in the old town, called Römerberg. They (playing saxophone, sousaphone and drums) performed some jazzy versions of classic 80s songs like “Take on Me” by a-ha and Billy Jean by Michael Jackson.

Hello Lars, I hope that you rewarded this young man for his music, from his face, he is putting a lot of effort into it.
The shallow depth of field works really well, there is enough information in the blurred background to understand where he is and why he is there.
An excellent portrait.

Either he's been in the sun too long or he's straining himself too much. Straining is fine, as long as he's enjoying himself but too much sun would need to be followed up by Aloe Vera. I like the blurred background against the sharp body.

Just looking at it ... I'm feeling very 'Jazzy' already.
I could dance all day , the jazz funk to Billy Jean !!!
I just love the classic songs of the 80s ... I wonder if they can play 'Every Breath You Take' :-)
It's a pity that his two friends weren't in the picture.
Well, at least we can focus this 'funky' busker in full swing ... the intensity on his face is full-on , the way he blows the trumpet ... Faszzinating !!!
