Photographer's Note

A view from Marburg. The castle started around 1140 and became the residence of the landgraviate of Hesse in the late 13th century. Its building history is long and difficult and comprises 8 different phases of construction activity - far too long to explain them here.
The landgrave of Hesse was among the first to introduce protestantism in his country, only 22 years after Luther's Wittenberg event.
Taken on slide film with Canon A1, professionally digitalized.
