Photographer's Note
Memorial for the victims of both world wars and the holocaust inside a German school.
Detail from the 2017-2018 period, as the memorial is intended to be varied annually.
The basic layer nearest to the wall is simply red.
The second layer consists of two copper and steel halves. The warm copper contains a persistent inscription and will never be changed, while the hard steel will be decorated annually by the students, according to the given annual theme.
The third layer is made of unbreakable glass and bears the names of the victims of WW I, holocaust and WW II (from top to bottom).
The words on the copper half were taken from article no. 1 of the German Grundgesetz (constitution).

Hello Sven
The image taken from this angle creates a very artistic view. The soft tones combined with the sharpness make for a great image.
