This will not be an operative railway before 2025.

Station of Altenahr in the most picturesque part of Ahr valley. Both railway bridges east and west from this place were destroyed in the floodings and the remaining rails later taken up again.

There are considerations if rebuilding Ahr valley line should also mean electrification of this line. However, the severe damages mean that progress will only be slow and traffic beyond Walporzheim (where the rails end for the moment and the most severe trouble begins) will only possible within a few years.

il en faudra du temps et des travaux pour retrouver le fonctionnement d'avant la période des inondations, Bon POV avec ce cadrage et la luminosité du soleil, joli fond avec ce château perché.
