Stairs and Reflections

Two weeks ago I posted a picture of the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (https://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/Germany/photo1587855.htm), located along the river Spree and home to the parliamentary library of the Bundestag. Here’s a close-up photo of the same building with the glass façade on the right hand side and the stairs that are seen in the right hand side of my previous photo.

Hej Lars,
Jag tror bestämt detta är samma byggnad som jag också vist en bild av. Men från olika vinklar och i annorlunda ljus blir effekten en helt annan. Du fick med väldigt fina speglingar som gör den här bilden mer dynamisk än min. Men vi såg båda att den här arkitekturen måste kompletteras med människor. Detta är en väldigt bra bild som jag verkligen gillar.

Hallo Lars,
Verbluffende weerspiegelingen! Ze zorgen voor een goed 3D effect.
Prachtige compositie met de trappen in de rechter benedenhoek.
De drie bezoekers zorgen voor de menselijke aanwezigheid op de prachtige architectuurfoto.
PS: Ik had hier niet meteen het gebouw van die vorige foto herkend.

Great diagonal view, with lots of wonderful reflections. I also like that there are only a few people on the steps. This view grabbed me from the thumbnail, and it looks even better in the large view. Take care!

It is one that has so much to offer and study, from the cram-coloured steps, with their animating figures, to the quite amazing building with its even more amazing reflections!
You have cropped and composed it to perfection!

Goedenavond Lars,

Het is verwonderlijk te de weerspiegelingen te zien van de grote trap in de glas façade.
Het valt echt op hoe klein de mensen zijn tegenover het groot gebouw.
Mooie samenstelling maar ook goede presentatie.
Goed foto werk, bedankt.

Wow,....it's like a mirror reflecting the clear blue sky and the building along the stairs in the wavy distractions is so beautiful to see. You were lucky to have people - sitting and walking on the stairs. Not too many people otherwise it'll disturbs the simplicity of this shot.
Very very well judged again. Pure genius.

Lars, the picture illustrates the architectural revival of Berlin. The superb glass facade on the left reflects a modern building. The big stairs are used by the students to relax and socialize. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

I am glad that you showed that previous photo before. We can much better appreciate this one, knowing the context of it.

I love the reflection in the wall at left. The people add scale and are dwarfed by the huge concrete, steel and glass structure. The stairs add perspective. Tfs!

Imposing attitude shot of ultramodern glass buildings and a nicely worked architectural abstract when the angle, lines and reflections add to dramatic feel. The people in the scene add life and scale to your shot. Congrats
