Photographer's Note

In the cathedral are lots of wood carved altars.
This one is the Antonius Altar from 1500 in which you can see the Saints:Thomas,Dionysius,Antonius and Maria Magdalena.I posted a picture of another one of this altars as a Ws to show how big they are.

Just in front of this altar was a massive gothic pillar,so I had to go a few steps to the side to take this picture.Actually it was so dark in the cathedral that it was difficult to focus.

St Viktor Cathedral
The legend tells that the roman legionary Viktor
and his companions died here as Christian
Martyrs in the 4th century.

The foundation stone for the St Viktor cathedral
was set above the old grave church in 1263.
the cathedral was build in the gothic style
and was finished in 1544.

The décor from the cathedral was very expensive
and valuable. Only the best craftsmen and
Artists could work here.
