Photographer's Note
In the end of 10th century Bulgarian tzar Samuel conquered Larissa. He remooved the relics of its patron saint Achilleios and brought them to a small island in Little Prespa lake, near the borders of modern Greece, Albania and FYROM. There, masons from Larissa built his palace and a big basilica church, dedicated to st. Achillios.
Today a foot-bridge links the island (inhabited by 21 people) to the mainland.
