I noticed that members of the site who had previously erected this magnificent building were overlooking the sea or the beach.
I photographed the inside, the view from the neighborhood.

This beautiful building was certainly worth another photo. Not much seems to have changed here in hundreds of years, but the taxi sign is definitely an addition in recent times. The man reading the information sign animates the view of the well exposed photo.

This is the imposing side of the ancient tower, Sasha.
A fortified edifice, sight with chimneys and small windows and two balconies makes an interesting photo.
One suggestion though: I'd crop out much part of the asphalt in the foreground.

Hello Sacha,

This is a building of great age as attested by its random stone walls and apparent repairs or alterations. You have given us a fine, close-up view., detailing its dominant shape and textures.
It is a pity that the parking sign is there to bring it into the modern times.

Yes I remember I already saw this unique stone made architectues before. But even though I see many time, this one has so much impact and presents impressive exsitance itself. Tight framework is quite comfortable to see.

very interesting shape of the tower. We have seen it from different angle in the previous photo, here a closer view with better lit details.

After a long period that I needed as a rest and to dedicate myself to my new change of residence, from Madrid I have moved to live in a smaller city 30 km away. Alcala de Henares, a beautiful city with a lot of history and very nice and quiet.
Fantastic composition with this original and unusual tower that at the same time seems housing, defensive and open with windows and viewpoint in its highest parts, strong stone construction.
Very effective color, which highlights the details of the image.
A good management, both of the luminosity, as of the sharpness.
Very well done. I like.

I really like this tower, the longer I view it the more and more I want to see more of it. Its so large in the frame, powerful with a strong presence. Fine lighting striking the stone to make it stand out even more. cheers
