Photographer's Note

Kallithea (Greek: Καλλιθέα meaning great view) is a village in the Greek island of Lemnos, part of the municipality Nea Koutali. Its 2001 population was 234 for the village and the municipal district. The older name was Sarpi (Σαρπί).
Kallithea is amphitheatrically built in a slope on a low hill 800 m from the Gulf of Moudros. The location has a panoramic view as much as the gulf and north to Samothraki.

A composition very well balanced and very efficienece. POV well selcetd with the large FG which lern the glance to the sympatic village whit the white and red colors which arise in the BG.

Bonjour Vasilis,

Cadrage très classique ou tu as centré le bâtiment en haut de la montagne. La cloture en avant plan est assez ordinaire et aurait pu être évitée.

Hello Vasilis,
This beautiful rural-area scene reproduces my idea about how Greece looks like very well. The vine and other green vegetation, white-wall and red-roof houses are so specific for a typical Greek landscape. The hilly terrain, the church and the national flag complete this wonderful picture. The scene is composed, captured and commented perfectly. Great job!
