Photographer's Note

The Rio–Antirrio Bridge is one of the world's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges and longest of the fully suspended type. It crosses the Gulf of Corinth near Patras, linking the town of Rio on the Peloponnese peninsula to Antirrio on mainland Greece by road. It opened on 12 August 2004.
The 2,380-metre-long (7,808 ft) bridge (approximately 1.8 miles) dramatically improves access to and from the Peloponnese, which could previously be reached only by ferry or via the isthmus of Corinth in the east. Its width is 28 m (92 ft)—it has two vehicle lanes per direction, an emergency lane and a pedestrian walkway.

The bridge connects the city of Rio (in the Ahaia region) with Antirio (in the Etoloakarnania region)

As with the dirt road yesterday the car this time does well as a balancing complement to the bridge. Even the pigeon plays a role in this photo. It's another well considered composition with nicely managed light.

there's something funny and comical about this. the fact that you can just drive up, set up your fishing rod and just sit back in your car and wait....so funny. this is fishing in 2022 i guess. great shot of this experience and the dridge makes a strong impact

Cześć, Ciekawie wygląda od drugiej strony. Nie wiem, czy tak siedzieć w samochodzie to taka przyjemność. może ucieczka przed gorącem. Długi ten most.

Czesc Piotr,
SWietny punkt widzenia na ten most, teraz z upelnie innej strony i pod innym katem. Bardzo fotogeniczne miejsce. Pomysl z samochodem jest niezly ale smiac mi sie chcialo widzac tytul. Zapewne tutaj lepsze wrazenie zrobilby rybak na lodce albo zwyczajny rybak podczas gdy samochod zawsze stwarza wrazenie przypadkowego zasmiecenia kadru. Stwierdzajac jednak w tytule ze samochod nalezy do rybaka udalo ci sie niejako usprawiedliwic ten oryginalny niejako pierwszy plan :)

Awesome big bridge on lovely seaside landscape. The pigeon and fishing rods are nice details. I think I would have left the car out of the frame.

Another fine view of the bridge. I am sure that BMW wishes it were driving on the bridge. Is that a pigeon on the ground?
