The front i saw just disembarking from the ferry at Syros island, was this red bougainvillea blossoms, contrasting perfect with the green of the door.

Beautiful red blossom above the entrance to the alley, Danos.
The shaded alley also in fine depth and conttrast to the lit façade.

Hello Danos, The simplest house when there is bougainvillea on the walls looks wonderful. What a pity that the climate in Poland is not good. I tried a few times to have bougainvillea in the pot, it even had flowers, but did not survive winter (even at home). delightful composition.

Hello Danos,
I've also once visited Syros but only Ermoupolis but I remember its many picturesque corners.
The bougainvillea adds much charm and of course a vivid colour to the streetscene. Here it's nice in contrast with the light blue door and with the small piece of blue sky.

I remember how beautiful these blossoms were, when I visited Greece.
You have captured them in a very neat, compact composition.
I love how the blossom not only contrasts with the door but also, links to the door via its many trailing shadows.

Lovely photo featuring some gorgeous colors! The scene initially seems that it could be any of the multiple beautiful Greek islands, but each of the locations seems to have their individual character. Great lighting and color, fine sharpness. I like the serene interplay between light and shadow also.
