The Holy Trinity Monastery of Melitaia
The monastery is at an altitude of 800 meters,in the region of ancient Melitea.Materials from ancient Melitea'swalls were used for its construction.
The monastery was built during the Turkish domination while the cells and the courtyard of the monastery were structured in the early 20 th century.
the catholic is a three aisled basilica with a dome.

the view of the chapel is very beautiful. I liked this simple and rustic aspect of it, even with the old window with a pilar in evidence.

Hello Dear Costantino,

You have composed the scene well, the figures animating the f/g, whilst the monastery guides inwards, creating a strong sense of perspective.
The building is sharply captured, revealing good, textural details of the stones. Because the stones were taken from the ancient walls, they give the impression that it is much older than 20th century.

Beautiful composition with this old monastery, which looks very old with ancient stones, the greenery of the field in spring is a nice contrast to its surroundings.

P.S. Referring to the last photo that you told me, I will tell you that the street has beautiful buildings, as well as restaurants and shops on the ground floor, it is a very lively street..

Hello Constantino, an interesting building, and your shot is animated by the inclusion of the people.
From your notes I am not sure exactly how old the monastery is, as I do now know when Turkey dominated the land.
