No Place for Two, a photo from Kerkyra, Ionian Islands

Photographer's Note

Lakones is a tiny village in the steep lime hills above Palekastritsa bay, from which we were promissed a beautiful view on the bay. It was not easy to get there. The road winded upwards in serpents with few wider meeting places...

You can see some of the New Year decoration on a wire between the two rows of houses along the road, which compise the village. The corner of the house on the left has been knocked away by something in the past...

Indeed a funny shot. It's very usual in Greek villages to have small roads, ideal for donkeys or pedestials but not for big vicycles! :)
