A View from Oia, a photo from Kyklades, South Aegean

Photographer's Note

Santorini is one of the most beautiful places I have ever travelled to. It has both stunning natural and man made beauty. It is extremely touristy and gets pretty busy during the summer months, but it's very much worth making the effort to go. The town of Oia in my opinion is the jewel of the island, with some of the most stunning sunsets you will ever see.

i like this tight framing, but you could have at least kept the corners spiro...

Beautiful photo, although it is a scene I've seen a lot (unfortunatly not for real yet).
Good contrast, sharpness, quality and colours in this photo. Good POV and composition, I like that you have positioned the church so in the frame that it occupies a lot of space, it's beauty deserves that. I only would have cropped/framed it less tight, on the sides you've cut off the edges of the church. Further nice, well done!

Hello Spiros,
a classical view from Santorini:D I would go there just to have such a picture of my own... I like the play of the shadows on the white, the vibrant blue and the water behind. I think the crop is just a bit too tight, but at the same time, it makes a different view(contrasts with all the others of the same type).

Absolutely marvellous shot. Great colours that make it so cool and lovely tones and textures. The composition is very good as well. Youve got a good pov Spiros and a lovely perspective. Overall superb work managing the lights very well.

HI Spiros. Santorini is a place I long to go to for pictures like this shot. A little tight on the crop maybe but still very good.
