As a slight detour from my Summer memories I show you some more recent photos.

The girl on the bench was quite obsessed with taking the right angle. Believe me, she was posing there for the proper selfie, while I consumed my sandwiches (which took some 8-10 minutes). Maybe she is still there...

This is becoming a common view, but maybe she was more obsessed than people generally. It still looks funny, but the great advantage of this photo is that you found her in such a nice place and managed such a well balanced photo while being stuck on your bench. Big building, lawn, people, tram, curving street are all in the right places.

Hello Gyorgy,
A great photo with wonderful architecture and a bit of modern daily life with the selfie photographer. The composition is well balanced and the light was pleasant here. But why would someone spend so much time taking photos of their own face, when the city around them offers so much more?

I am laughing so hard....."maybe she is still there" You sure you don't do stand up comedy on the side? I see same here. Vanity is a killer for sure. A perfectly caught image of life.

Hello Gy,
I have experienced several times that people who take selfies have all the time in the world for that and completely forget (or ignore) everyone around them.
You were very lucky that there weren't two of her friends with her. Then they could giggle for hours while looking at the photos and before someone else could take a seat on the bench.
On this photo we get to see some very beautiful architecture.
Presented under a good light and with attractive colours and perfect sharpness.

This title made me smile. You captured a nice street scene with elegant architecture at that back but in the foreground we have the lady photographing herself with the selfie stick. Yes, people using phones in many different ways are such a lovely subject for photographers.
