I think just the same! Why hold the phone like this!!

I like this; does it give you the same impression that I get? It appears like a large stage, surrounded by seating, and in its centre is a single performer (maybe a ballet dancer) very strongly placed to capture attention!
Well seen and beautifully photographed!

Hello György,
A strange position, unless he is looking into his girlfriend's eyes. Or maybe he just likes to think he is speaking into a microphone like an artist on stage. Mobile phones seem to create just as many photo opportunities as kick-bikes. This one makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, probably for the dull emptiness of the place.

I find it quite a remarkable way to phone in public as well (I often use speaker phone when I'm at home, but never in public). You included the man very well in the left hand side of the photo, which left enough space for the empty square and the surrounding buildings as well.
