Photographer's Note
A picture serie of the famous and well documented Strokkur. Tried to capture the speed of the eruptive force and to avoid the ropes that seals off the geysir. Unfortunately the total extruded water column at the moment was not captured.

Magnifique. Eventhough you haven't capture the whole of the water column, you've used a quite fast shutter speed and manage to freeze and capture the power of the geyser.
Well done.
PS: I'd like to see a larger version of those pictures.

Very nicely phtographed even if you didn't get what you originally wanted. You still managed to capture the explosive force. The way it seems to bubble in the first one and then explode in teh second and totally lose its original shape in the last is very nicely presented to us. Great job photographing and presenting this spectacle to us.

Very nice picture. You have a sunny day, a chance. When I was at this place it was raining all the day. Good shot of the time of the buble explodes.
If you want to see the total water column, you can see my picture set.

A wonderful picture serie that remind me the Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone NP, USA.
Very nice presentation in 3 pictures. Nice job!
