Vincent: Your slow shutter speed made for nice, smooth water flowing, yet your human subject remained tack sharp. Nice to have a cooperative subject stay still!

Iceland is on my wish list and it's photos like yours that make me want to go that much more.

Bonjour Vincent,
Belle originalité dans le cadrage ! L'effet de la pose longue sur les chutes d'eau crée un effet vraiment magique ! Ta femme au premier plan apporte une échelle de grandeur de la cascade et le fait de la couper au cadrage (la cascade, pas ta femme !) laisse imaginer une hauteur encore plus grande.

PS : il me semble que tu t'es trompé d'emplacement pour ta photo ... Les chutes d'eau de Seljalandsfoss se situe dans la région de Rangarvallasysla et pas de Akureyri ;)

Bonjour Vincent,

J'aime beaucoup la composition avec la présence de ton épouse qui permet de se rendre compte de l'impressionnante hauteur et de la puissance de cette chute d'eau, mais je suis moins convaincu par la pose longue qui rend nébuleux le rideau d'eau. Je pense qu'un temps d'exposition plus court aurait mieux restitué la force des eaux.

Really wonderful effect with the long exposure. the waterfalls looks like beam of white light. It is magical and the presence of a person give depth to the composition.
