Basalt Organ, a photo from Sudhur-Mulasysla, Asturland

Photographer's Note

Litlanesfoss is located on the same trail than the one which goes to Hengifoss waterfall. It is a big waterfall surrounded by basalt columns that looks like a "Basalt Organ". The small waterfall on the picture is situated just on top of Litlanesfoss and can be accessible only if you find a way to cross the river that the trail follows.

J'ai du mal à voir le point de vue d'où tu as pris cette photo. Peut-être as-tu remonté la cascade par le côté droit ? En tout cas très beau point de vue ! On voit bien les orgues basaltiques, la netteté et les couleurs sont excellentes.

A really great view of an incredible falls. Such unique cliff sides. Nice use of camera techniques and the 1 sec exposure. Iceland has some amazing natural wonders. Thanks for sharing these.
