Photographer's Note

Still driving on circular route 1 in Eastern Fjords area in Iceland, with spectacular sceneries again while approaching Djúpivogur, the big village of the area (well, only 352 inhabitants anyway !). From what I found on the web, the mountain with the sharp top in the background is called Einidalsfjall. It surrounds a small bay closed by a black sand spit.

Excellent shot of this mountain road. I love how the weather can change so quickly in the mountains and this sky looks foreboding. Nice sharpness and POV. Great work!

Une bien jolie image que voilà! Cela me fait me dire que je n'inclus pas assez de routes et ces fameuses lignes blanches/droites dans certains de mes paysages. La voiture au fond joue bien sur la dimension "immensité" du paysage. Et belle capture de cette lumière qui rechauffe le premier plan par rapport à la noirceur du ciel et des montagnes au loin.
