Biking through the Mordor, a photo from Sudhur-Mulasysla, Asturland

Photographer's Note

One day round the foot of the Hekla volcano. The pic's isn't the rocket but at least gives you the feeling it was to bike on this dead land, anything but lava rocs, lava fields, ashes up till the horizon... It was as if the colors had been wiped from Earth for a while, everything was black and white, and the dust from it was everywhere, in our mouths, hair, eyes...

I recognize this view and feeling very well, Dams. (I usually don't go by bike though, but on a horse)
The landscape is impressive, like being on the moon. (I guess.)
I like your composition, the dark, grey tones and the bright road.
Well seen and captured.

Je suis allé sur cette même route, à la même periode... Et j'ai ressenti les mêmes sensations, le titre est bien choisi. Bravo pour cette photo qui capture vraiment bien la pesanteur du lieu.
