Photographer's Note

This small lovely beach is located near Killary Harbour 12 km north of Clifden.At the background ,the Mweelrea Mountains.
This is one of my best scanned pictures of my Ireland collection ,taken 29 years ago with a Mamiya 500DTL from the good old analogue time!!

Geweldig dat deze foto van zovele jaren geleden er zo goed uitziet na het scannen! Prachtig groen landschap met een zicht over de zee en de bergen in de achtergrond! Prachtige compositie met mooie details en heldere kleuren! Mooi gedaan!

Dag, Arthur. Ierland ziet er zeer groen uit en hier levert u er nog het bewijs van. Een zeer mooi landschap met alle typieche Ierse ingrediënten: weiden, de zee en heuvels. De foto is een beetje oud, maar is nog een kijkje waard.

Wanneer u mij de vraag zou stellen welke van de twee ik moet kiezen, ik zou het begod niet weten, de origineel vind ik zeker zeer mooi, om dit te scannen moet men over goede aperatuur beschikken, maar u presenteerd ons hier een beeld dat men nog steeds mag bekijken, het zal altijd mooi blijven ook! U had reeds de kennis 29 jaar geleden Arthur!

Très belle composition.
Lors de mon voyage en Irlande en août 2005, ,j'ai fait quelques photos sur cette même plage. Je suis ravi de revoir cet endroit avec un bond de 28 années dans le passé.

What a fine country it must be ! i enjoyed to do a ws hoping you should like it ... Of course it is far from 400D , but framing was still nice and we can enjoy fine colours as well .

One would not say only this photograph to 30 years. The treatment is excellent. This Irish landscape is splendid and the perfectly restored colors as well as the light. A very beautiful composition, cheer.

Lovely place, excellent composition with nice, delicate colours. I had Mamiya years ago, but it doesn`t exist no more. It was a good camera. Unfortunatelly there was no good plates for it...
