This street scene, taken in cental Dublin, reminded me the Joni Mitchell's song "For free". Here is the last verse:

Nobody stopped to hear him
Though he played so sweet and high
They knew he had never
Been on their T.V.
So they passed his music by
I meant to go over and ask for a song
Maybe put on a harmony...
I heard his refrain
As the signal changed
He was playing real good, for free

a nice moody one here. Like the musician playing his instrument. I am sure he plays well... Like the inclusion of the passers which added dynamism to it. A very good one. Tfs.

Hello Stefano,
excellent study of daily-life and human emotions and expressions.The musician playing on his saxophone and the man passing indifferently next to him.Very evocative and meaningful scene!
But I have to also mention the BG-the wal behind provides really great backdrop for the scene.

Hi Stefano.
I enjoyed the title and lyrics almost as much as the photo. It's a minimalistic urban scene, with a bold expanse of dirty metal as the background, and a suitably blurry figure moving off the stage on the right. Nicely done - simple but tells a story.

I like very much the inclusion of the pedestrian, and specially that you blurred him. This creates the idea of loneliness.

(In fact this also goes very well with Joni's lyrics).

The lines on the curtain behind the subject also add strength.

I am almost every week surprised through the high quality of the street musicians, I gives almost always a small baksheesh.
Semino Rossi now a very great artist, is started in Spain as street singer, now a big TV star in Germany.
Sharpness and clarity make these picture very attractive
