Photographer's Note

I also thought of calling this one "What I did on my summer holiday" since the scene depicts a recurring theme on my easy does it tour of Ireland. Adventure and excitement are great sometimes, but other times you want to slow down and let life pass you by like these patrons of Tom King's Bar & Snug in Clifden.

Really, would could be more enjoyable than soaking up the sun while drinking a Bulmers cider in front of a colorful Irish pub and people watching? The man sprawled out on the left attracted me to this scene, he seemed so relaxed and content. Truly a state to aspire to. Also, if you've followed any of my previous posts, note the omnipresent Guinness sign. And of course, the bold colors that usually decorate the pubs are catchy.

Clifden is an early 19th-century market town that passes for the capital of the Connemara region and makes a good base for exploring the area. Close to the town, the Twelve Bens mountains dominate the view.

Hope you enjoy!
