Wow thnx, great shot. Here it is too cloudy to see the eclipse :( but at least I get a glimpse ofthe eclipse this way :)

Hi Vinicio,

I've just been out to see this myself a few moments ago, prompted by someone else's version on TE (sackbut's). Yours seems less noisy than his with a very smooth black sky.

I rather like the WS version - not as mysterioso but I think the halo effect adds a lot of interest. The moon now is very dim and therefore rather disturbing on such a clear, crisp night as we're having here.

Gran trabajo para captar este eclipse de luna de la noche pasada. Yo lo intenté desde Andorra pero unas nubes de montaña me lo impidieron.
El contraste entre la parte iluminada de la luna, los pequeños puntos luminosos de las estrellas, y la oscuridad del cielo da un gran resultado gráfico, muy atractivo y agradable.
Es una buena foto de actualidad, bien realizada técnicamente.

A very pretty photograph on this event. I like very much the image processing and framing. The 3 stars on the photograph are more beautiful effect. It makes a little a sky of science fiction. The colors of the moon are very pleasant. Cheer Vinicio.

A very good catch, as I know how difficult it is to get a decent shot of these events. Anyway, the clouds in Paris prevented us from even looking at the event.
You managed it very well, congratulations !

Bella questa foto della Luna, la prossima settimana ne carico una anch'io!
Vedo che l'esposizione è stata fatta a f/3.7 e 3" e l'immagine è venuta abbastanza nitida.
Io ho notato che scattando con un tele 500 a f/16 e 3", naturalmente con treppiede, scatto remoto e blocco dello specchio, notavo un leggero micromosso dovuto (credo...) al movimento relativo terra-luna e quindi non potevo scattare a più di 2.5".
