Photographer's Note

Located in the historic heart of the city, near the Pantheon, Piazza Navona is one of the most famous places of Rome and the largest. Piazza Navona is a place of passage! Built on the site of the ancient Roman Stadium of Domitian (81-96 AD) it takes the shape of the track. The Fountain of the Moor, south of the Piazza Navona, due to Giacomo Della Porta, represents a Moorish grappling with a dolphin. According to some, it would be a representative portrait of the Congo to the Pope.
