Photographer's Note

Yesterday we spent all the day in the Parco Sud Milano, the largest park of the city, that was settled as the first part of the Green Ring around Milan and used to stop the urbanisation of the Metro Area in the southern side of the city.
Today it covered an area of 46.300 hectars (463.000.000 square meter) and inside the park there are not few small cities, villages, hundreds of farms and old rural settlements; we visited some of them, and we stopped our tour to the Abbazia di Morimondo.
It's was settled by the Ordo Cisterciensis, sometimes called the White Monks.
It's one of the 4 Church Mother of the Order in Italy, the first one in Lombardy.
The first church was built in the 1134, the actual Abbey was built in the 1182.
The Abbey was well renovated in the past deaces.
