Monta d' Alba:
One climbing the winding hill from Canale, you come across this huge mural on entering the town. You don't tend to spot it in a car, more likely out walking. Left over from the war and no doubt its survival from a troubled past is not wanted by the locals.
But it is part of the towns past. And although it has been defaced somewhat it is part of that past.
And perhaps worth saving because of that?

Strange, historical picture. If I understand it's a Mussolini portait, surviving of the time and painting bombing.
