Photographer's Note
The 17 contradas of Siena have fountains where new contrada members are baptized. Most of the fountains were built in the XX century.
This is the fountain of the contrada of Drago (Drake). It was made by sculptor Vico Consorti in 1977 and is located in Piazza Matteotti, better known in Siena as Piazza della Posta.
