Photographer's Note
The 17 contradas of Siena have fountains where new contrada members are baptized. Most of the fountains were built in the XX century.
This is the fountain of the contrada of Torre (Tower). It was made by sculptor Mauro Berrettini in 1984 and is located in Via Salicotto.
