The 17 contradas of Siena have fountains where new contrada members are baptized. Most of the fountains were built in the XX century.
This is the fountain of the contrada of Giraffa (Giraffe). It was made by Salvatore Bocci and Pier Luigi Olla and is located in Piazzetta della Giraffa.
