Ferry Inhabitants, a photo from Nuoro, Sardegna

Photographer's Note

The ferry from Livorno to Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, takes about 6 hours. Here is how some people choose to spend this time. Either watching the blue Torrenian sea, or taking a sun bath.
As the wind is quite strong while the ship is cruising, laying on the ground is the only option in the open space of the deck.
If you are curios about the yellow lines, they are for the helicopter.

PS: The deck is light blue, so it is not a cyan-blue dominance.

What a particular photo. It could be compare to a abstract painting (blue with two yellow lines). You framed it perfectly and the colours are great.

Hi,

I was looking back a piece of your gallery and it is fun to notice it is homogenous. In fact, it is often no so difficult to guess you took the posted shot. There is a kind of signature.
Here I recognize a part of your serie on the street marking. But much more, there is a real work on the composition with right placement of the people: this shot is telling a story. It makes me think about the photographe Martin Paar.
As technical comment, I would have decreased a bit the saturation, especially to recover the skin tones (to reove a bit of orange).
