Colors under the arcades, a photo from Bologna, Emilia-Romagna

Photographer's Note

This was taken yesterday in Bologna, under the several kilometers of its arcades. The red hat makes a good contrast with the colors of the buildings. For pictures like this it is important to wait for the right moment. Whenever I spot a good place I keep waiting for the right person to pass by.

Hello Stefano,
I have very happy memories of Bologna from many years ago. You have shown the famous arcades in a creative way with a narrow DOF. You waited for the right moment for the person to be in the right position. The vertical yellow and whote pillars are graphic. Very well done - I like this very much.

Nice to see you posting time to time. There are always thing to discover, to discuss or to think about in your post.
Here, we could think about the depth of field selection and the use of the colors as key parts of the composition. Incredible you got this woman with the red hat completing the blue and yellow pillars!

Hi Stefano,
The colors are beautiful, the composition is very good. However, something does not look natural with this photo. I don't think it is entirely out of focus, maybe too heavily filtered?
Nevertheless, it is aesthetically pleasing.
