Photographer's Note

After you to have presented one sometimes Sunset on Venice, here today another vision of this city, always since "Riva degli Schiavoni".
"Slavics's Shore ", it is one of the usual walks of Venetian since the 19 E century;
Zone which was always attended since the 9 E century, it was the quay where the boats charged with various goods accosted which were unloaded and sold in particular by the Slavic ones of Dalmatia, from where the name of this shore.
In silhouette, one distinguishes from left on the right, the church San Giorgio Maggiore on the island of the same name, in the center the housing project of "Sea's Customs", the church Santa Maria Della Salute with the characteristic dome, the column with in top the Lion which with that supporting Saint-Marc are the symbols of Venice, and with the extreme right-hand side "Libreria Marciana" where Piazzetta San Marco starts.
