Le antiche sepolture dei primi cristiani napoletani e dei vescovi della città. Il nucleo originario delle Catacombe di San Gennaro risale al II secolo d.C. Si tratta, probabilmente, del sepolcro di una famiglia gentilizia che poi donò gli spazi alla comunità cristiana.

a quanto vedo sei già arrivato....
Intuisco anche che ti sei visto la parte più nascosta della città, forse la meno conosciuta e per questo la più affascinante.
Bella foto, splendida atmosfera, un bellissimo gioco di luci e ombre.

The length of the catacombs is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the catacombs. The surrounding light has a special effects on the colors. Have a nice day.

nice the view as the presentation of this section of the Catacombs of San Gennaro with the group of the visitors to don't be visible enough.The lighted parts of the area are seen very well.

Buongiorno Silvio,
I only saw teh Palermo catacombe complex, was interesting but had a "spookey-feel" while being there.
Here I see much more light than in Palermo, maybe a more visitors-friendly environment.Well managed the little light underground's, silhouettes of the people shown fairly good.

We get a nice view of the old ancient tombs of the early Christians Neapolitans and the city bishops. . .
A nice perspective and depth picture.
Sharpness and colours are pleasant to look at.
Very well composition, lovely presentation too.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition. La lumière est presque fantomatique et elle pousse le regard vers les ombres au fond. Belle étude de textures.

Napoli has some hidden gems if you are prepared to seek them out below the chaotic streets above. Good sharpness and the low light levels and high contrasts have been well managed. Tfs!
