Teatro San Carlo di Napoli

Il più antico e famoso teatro del mondo sorge a Piazza del Plebiscito, simbolo della città di Napoli, con una data di nascita che anticipa di 41 anni la Scala di Milano e di 55 la Fenice di Venezia. Il Teatro di San Carlo è stato costruito nel 1737, per volontà del Re Carlo III di Borbone e rimane ancora oggi il grande tempio della lirica italiana.

Une ville que j'aimerais bien visiter un de ces jours. Cet opéra est certainement un de ses plus beaux attraits, si on a la permission d'y entrer. Magnifique contre plongée et belle gestion de la lumière.

This page looks as impressive as your note describes it, and your choice of the upwards point of view works brilliantly n I would guess the light was really difficult too, especially looking up like this. Your result is on sharp and very beautiful. The opulence of this place is very apparent.

Ciao Silvio,
I like very much your reportage from Naples, you show us so many less known aspects of this famous town.
For some reason none of my friends have visited it and I wouldn't be able to point out any characteristic building or structure there. I just remember seeing a lot of panoramas with harbour and volcano in the distance by Lisa.
