Photographer's Note
Milano - Museo del Novecento.
Foggy and cold, crepuscular almost, Milan didn't exactly shine that afternoon I spent there last week - the lack of real light (well, the light I like, at least) made it hard for me to find corners and details I might be interested in. Plus, due to the usual weight constraints of a business trip I had only one lens with me (my least favourite one) and its constant distortion got on my nerves... anyway - this side of the Museum caught my eye with its iron staircase, and you know me - when did the lack of light ever stopped me from taking a shot..?

Ciao Cristina, Nice to see you, pity that so rarely. Fantastic composition in big format. Superb view of all these lines - diagonal and vertical. Stunning contrast in black and white. Nice inclusion of people's silhouettes.

Hello Cristina,
This is a graphically very attractive photo with fine contrasts and attractive diagonals created by the staircases. It's a neat composition showing an obvious artistic talent.
Kind regards,

Hello Cristina,
This is something I could imagine on a wall sized poster. The abstract line, the human presence and the tones create a very pleasant result.
Goes straight to my favourites.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Cristina
Always great to see one of your bl/w pictures here. This is a superb composition. Great how the stairs zigzag their way to the top. And a really good close crop at the bottom too. Nice one!

Hi Cristina again
A perfect framing to have a movement of the stairs my eyes follow from bottom right to the top. The human silhouettes, 2 by 2, give some life to the scene.
Have a lovely day

Hello Cristina
Graphic, contrasty, and almost two-dimensional. But the figures humanize the scene appropriately. Nice one.
Regards
Will
