Le Passo di Giau (Jof de Giau ou Suogo de Jou en ladin) est un col routier qui , à 2236 mètres d'altitude , communique le Val Fiorentina avec la vallée de Cortina d'Ampezzo .
Ici , une vue classique , avec la petite chapelle et le Nuvolau en arrière plan .

Hello Denis,
There is an amazing resemblance between the small chapel and the similarly shaped mountain. The road connects them well and creates depth. There is also an invisible diagonal between the top of the bell tower and the peak of the mountain. The colours of the chapel's roof are the same as those of the fields, so from the air it must be difficult to detect it. ;-) It's a very good composition taken from a perfect angle.

Wow .... wonderful landscape with that mountain with a pointed top all stone, curiously the church seems to want to compete in shape with the mountain behind it, these first green slopes soften the wild landscape.

I really like the juxtaposition here of the small chapel and the impressive mountain peak. The soft sunlight is really beautiful also, just as the clouds right behind the rocky cliffs. Well done.

The scenery is quite stunning, with this ridge of mountains framed against the clouds and I just love how you have placed the triangular shape of the chapel so strongly in the f/g. It immediately becomes a mimic of the b/g mountains.
The clarity and colours are excellent.

Nice catch of the A framed chalet against the A frame shape of the peak. I had to look twice at the province as I know there are no high mountains in Venice. Obviously the province must stretch all the way to the European Alps. Tfs!

spectacular sight. Very well thought through composition.
The little chapel makes such a wonderful foreground, its shape seems quite unique. Its design seems to imitate the mountain behind and I guess you have placed it next to each other on purpose. I like also the path which seems to lead from the chapel to the foothills of the mountain.

L'étendue de l'endroit donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la chapelle et des montagnes. La qualité de la lumière embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

I liked a lot the combination of shapes between the chapel as a triangle and the peak of the mountain, almost with the same shape. excellent light, sharpness and details. a fabulous photo and place.
