Chiesa dei Santi Crisanto e Daria – Patrico – Spoleto (PG)

Visto che la neve non arriva me la sono andata a cercare in archivio

La chiesa, dedicata ai santi Crisanto e Daria, è di semplice fattura, a una sola navata con copertura a capanna; si fa risalire ai secoli XIV o XV.
La conformazione dell’absidiola denuncia però l’esistenza di un più vetusto romanico, risalente al secolo XIII.
È probabile che l’edificazione della chiesa sia antecedente la nascita della villa di transito e che Patrico sia sorta intorno alla chiesa posta su una via di transito da Spoleto verso la Valnerina, lo testimonia l’inusuale collocazione al di sotto dell’abitato.

Pleasant picture with the a few snow but almost one year ago this is never a trouble.

Les arbres cadrent bien l'église. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'église de Saint-Crisanto et Daria. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

I really like the combination of the gentle layer of snow and the bright sunshine. A nice view of the small church. I like the play of diagonals here a lot.

I imagined that the snow had arrived in Perugia but your notes tell me differently!
You have captured the church very sharply in this atmospheric shot.
I like how you have been able to reveal the steepness of the surrounding hillsides.
Using the fences in the f/g has created a good sense of depth.

I like the composition & pov, the tones and detail of the cute chapel with the bell really holds the focus for the eye to rest. I find the snow dust gives an added depth to the compo.

Charming little church and as you wrote less typical location below the hill. The naked trees and snow around it add a charming decoration . I like how the nature behind the church created some diagona lines behind the church.
