Castello di CivitellarnrnIl castello di Civitella, di forma ellittica, occupa un piccolo colle a 480 metri sul livello del mare, a dominio di un vasto e fertile pianoro agricolo, situato nella sinistra orografica del Nera, e a controllo dell’importante percorso montano che collegava Spoleto con Monteleone e Leonessa, quindi con il Regno di Napoli. rnEretto sul sito di un antichissimo insediamento, testimoniato da materiale funerario di epoca preromana, già feudo dell’Abbazia di San Pietro in Valle, alla fine del XIII secolo diviene sede di podesteria del distretto di Spoleto. rnLe fortificazioni, le mura e le due porte di accesso risalgono tale periodo.

La montagne cadre bien le village. La prise d evue permet de voir les détails des immeubles et de l'église. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

It's another fine castle located in a beautiful scenery. The bell tower rises high above the roofs with the mountain as a background. The light is good and so are the colours and sharpness.
