Photographer's Note

This is the famous "Bridge of Sighs", or Ponte dei Sospiri in Venice. It was built in the year 1600 to connect Doge's Prison on the right, with the main palace on the left. Casanova and Galileo Galilei both spent time in this prison. Underneath the bridge is a blurry gondola, which have become synonymous with Venice.

Taken with my old Pentax SLR.
I had no tripod so I just held my camera down against the stone railing.
