Photographer's Note
The 17 contradas of Siena have fountains where new contrada members are baptized. Most of the fountains were built in the XX century.
This is the fountain of the contrada of Onda(Wave). It was built in 1972. The font was designed by Algero Rosi. The insignia on it were made by Vittorio Conti. The bronze sculptures are by Alfonso Buoninsegni. It is located in Via Fontanella.
