An image of Roodt-sur-Syre, municipality of Betzdorf, taken last Sunday, visiting one of my sons and walking one of our dogs. Image of a real nice winter bringing back memories of the sixties and seventies where winter was still what it was to supposed to be...cold, with lots of snow.

Good evening John!
Winter at its best. These curves of the track lead the eyes wonderfully into this winter wonderland - and the sky adds alot to this scenery! Here winter really is frightening. 65 cm snow in my garden - and on my roof... driving the car - impossible!

Bonjour John,

l'hiver est une belle inspiration pour les poetes. Cette vue artistiques prouve qu'on peut voir les choses de bon cote. Il y a toujours le bon cote. Ici, encore, la petite surface jaune est beaucoup pour le repos de l'oeil. Amities ami,

Beautiful winter view indeed. High viewpoint shows fields in the distance. Curving track on the snow leads to the picture nicely.

Hello John,
This photo caught my eye already in the thumbnail. A very nice winter shot. A good POV and composition. Very beautiful late winter afternoon light. You have controlled the exposure perfectly and the colours are beautiful and natural. Also the snow is rendered very well in both highlights and shadows. Although it obviously was cold, the curving track is inviting for a stroll in the winter landscape! TFS!
