The church is located in the area of Matka canyon. Built in 1389 the Monastery of St. Andreas is located on Lake Matka (17 km away from Skopje) and contains frescos of great artistic importance.

I had a cup of coffee in the restaurant beside St Andrews Monastery. I like the splash of mauve added by the purple flowers. Did you notice the sign by the stairs pointing straight up to Mars, 60 million km. Tfs!

cześc Piotrze, Ta cerkiewka przypomina mi cerkiewki w albanii. W sumie to niedaleko. Ładnie obramowane przez te różowe kwiaty.
A co to jest biuro jednoliterowe? Pewnie do tego wąwozu trudno byloby dojechać indywidualnie.
Zorganizowanie sobie wycieczki jest przyjemne i jak się ma troche wprawy, nie zajmuje specjalnie dużo czasu. ja przygotowałam wszystko w Nowej Zelandii (samolot, autobusy, hotele i wycieczki) w kilka dni, jak się juz zdecydowałam wyjechać. W przypadku NZ to duża oszczędność kasy :)

Hello Piotr,
A very nice view of the medieval church which seems to be standing just below the steep hill. The view is well framed by flowers and the roof of another building. The light and colours are fine and you used the DOF well for the best effect.

The framing flowers contribute a nice splash of colour and contrast well with the architecture of the church. The whole is well exposed with agreeably rendered colours and some pleasant textural detail.
