Matka Canyon Boat, a photo from Skopje, West

Photographer's Note

Travelling a little further back in my time machine to 2015, I spotted this reasonable shot of Matka Canyon with a pier and some boats. It's an easy day trip from Skopje and not expensive. I've cloned out a protruding branch at far right.

Hello Chris,
A beautiful view of the steep rocks at the edge of the calm lake. The sunlight was wonderful and added such a striking and appealing contrast between the warm colours and the darker blue areas. Well composed, too.

Hello Chris,
Good management of the rather awkward lighting conditions. Well rendered colours and textural detail. The white boat supplies a striking focal point and gives scale to the rocky headland.

Bonjour Chris,

J'apprécie les reflets sur l'eau. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des montagnes. Une bonne gestion de la lumière intense qui ne nuit pas trop au rendu des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Maybe a little bit overexposure op the slope.
But further a wonderful panorama view

Quel beau paysage. Quand la falaise glisse dans la mer cela donne toujours un superbe effet. J'aime aussi la lumière qui fait briller les arbres. Beau contrôle du contre jour.

Hello Chris, Haha, I was in Matka Canyon in autumn last year. Splendid place. Nice view of the boat. Is it so easy to go there from Skopje>? I was on the organized tour. Is this in a place where one goes to the cave? Lovley view of the rock.

An interesting photo eveen if some colours are a bit washed out. No sign of the cloning which is something I often do.
