Photographer's Note
Small traditional fishing village in South East Malta.Maltese is a very unusual language, sounding slightly like Arabic. The village is pronounced Marsashlok. Malta is known to have been inhabited since about 5900BC.
It is believed thatthe name Malta comes from the Greek word for honey, meli.

Hello David
I like the wide angled, panoramic format and the distinctive Maltese fishing boats with their curved hulls and bright colours. Good sharpness and the bg towers of the church at right provide a focal point. Tfs!

Hi David,
A nice colourful panorama of the harbour with excellent sharpness and depth of field. There is plenty of detail to savour. The boats look very Mediterranean with their bright colours and quaint shapes. The church on the right forms a good focal point in the background.

Hello David,
Boats around Malta are great subjects to photograph. As we can see in the f/g, some are very attractively coloured!
Your scene works well as a panorama, the water guiding and then opening out to show a plethora of vessels and buildings. We feel to be taking a trip ourselves!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello David, the panoramic view takes in so much of the harbour and the surrounding features, excellent work.
The bright blue of the traditional Maltese fishing boats unifies the scene.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi David,
Panoramic format fits perfectly on this boat harbour view. Light is lovely and shows those light sandstone hues so well. It is an unforgettable place.

Hi David,
beautiful spot. I had the pleasure to visit this photogenic village as well.
Very eye catching panoramic view here. Nice to see the boats in the foreground and of course the church is the strongest point of the composition.
Clouds decorate the sky without disturbing the sunshine.
Very well done,
M

Hi David
very effective angle for this shot, it worked out well.
Looking at the Marina, I wasn't expecting to read about the language of Malta in the note haha, but i like it, something different and educational for us to remember. its a far reaching and wide reaching shot, good one

packing so much detail and colour into this panorama, it just begs to be opened in another tab.
Nice work!
