Photographer's Note

The photo here is a small daily life perspective of Kotor which is a fortified town on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. The fortification (constructed and reconstructed over the past centuries), has a massive wall which is now mostly eroded away and is partially seen above.

Also seen is a stepped path (which stretches for 4.5 km (3 mi) directly above the city). These many many steps are quite warn away, loose, and makes a rough super steep climb. 1/3rd the way up leads to the Lady of Remedy church (seen far above and is closed) and then onward to the Kotor Fortress of St. John far far above (still 2/3rds from the top – best be in good shape and happy with heights.

Lots of friendly cats in the town and along the path. I was not in Kotor long enough to make the full climb and return. I would expect the views from the very top are spectacular.

I will post a more complete photo of this path and town later.
