The old California lighthouse stands as a silent sentry near the northwest corner of Aruba, an area known as Hudishibana, arguably the most spectacular on the island, from where you can see one of the most spectacular views of the coast and its beaches. Its name is due to the shipwreck of a famous American ship in front of the coast of the island.
