Photographer's Note
It was my bike-trip again.
The little village Terheijden , where this picture was taken.
It's just on the outskirts of the north Breda.
It's doable and not very faraway.
This Kleine Schans( Little Earthwork ) was built in 1639 to protect shipping on the Mark
and the Breda-Moerdijk connection.
It was never demolished. In 2013, it was partly renovated and restored
through the efforts of the West-Brabantse Defense Lines Foundation.
Now, it's a beautiful place for a walk or a picnic around this 'grassy' earthwork-mound,
surrounded by water and birds.
The windmill is called 'De Arend' and the colourful artwork 'De Tekenaar(artist)'.
Two more pictures of this Kleine Schans.
Thanks for your time.

Hello Loong,
A very nice photo of this traditional windmill, rising up from behind the grass slopes. The sunlight was very pleasant and the silhouettes of the birds are a wonderful detail as well.

Hello Loong,
The well restored windmill is a nice building, and it's well placed for its original purpose and for these photos on top of the grassy hill. It's very nicely surrounded on one side by the three seagulls and on the other by "De Tekenaar". I would actually have liked to see a closer view of this colourful artwork, which looks interesting from this distance. Both WS show very nice sceneries, so this is obviously a good place for a short excursion.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Loong, this looks like a very nice place to go for a bike ride.
Three good pictures with an original title.
It is encouraging that there has been restoration.
Did you take any pictures of the artwork? I would have liked to see it.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Loong,
I happened to have seen your later photo before, but of course I recognise the draftsman here at the windmill.
You present all three photos in an attractive composition.
The three birds in the main photo come flying straight at you.
Best regards, Paul
