Photographer's Note

Although we still can go out without being stopped by police, as long as we follow the social distancing rules, I spend a lot of time inside, despite the lovely weather.
Here a view from my kitchen window toward the inner gardens of our block. The houses on the opposite are big canal houses and in their gardens are some very old trees. In fact the little blossoming tree, a black mulberry, is the oldest described tree in Amsterdam and is planted there in 1623 and so is about 400 years old.
